Preheat and Preparing
1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small loaf pan or a 6x6-inch baking dish with parchment paper
Mash and Mix Wet Ingredients
1
In a medium bowl, mash the 2 bananas completely into a smooth puree. Whisk in the egg and peanut butter until fully combined and smooth
Incorporate Dry Ingredients
1
Add the cocoa powder and baking soda to the bowl. Stir with a spatula until a thick, uniform brownie batter forms. Fold in most of the dark chocolate chunks, saving a few for the top
Assemble
1
Spread the batter evenly into your prepared pan. Scatter the remaining dark chocolate chunks and the chopped hazelnuts evenly over the top
Bake
1
Bake for 20 minutes. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out mostly clean with just a few moist crumbs
Cool
1
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing. Because these are flourless, cooling helps them set into a perfectly fudgy texture
